Five Floral Trends for 2023
Five Fabulous Floral Trends Heading Your Way For 2023
We have gathered together a selection of what we predict to be hot and on trend for 2023. Question is, will you be incorporating any into your big day?
1) Sustainably Sublime
With the floristry industry making strides towards eco-friendly, foam free, British and locally grown florals that will create natural and sustainable wedding flower designs to Wow your guests.
Natural flowers can help create a beautiful backdrop to your wedding and work perfectly with your own unique style.
You can start by switching from confetti to dried flower petals and even seeds as a way of helping the environment. Insisting on foam free centrepieces and reducing single use plastics where possible.
For those on a tight budget you could use home-grown flowers and foliage’s from your friends and families' gardens (always ask first though!) and placing them in bud vases or jam jars for an eclectic vibe to your celebrations whilst being gentle on our planet.
2) Viva Magenta
With Pantone announcing their colour for 2023 as Viva Magenta, we can expect to see some marvellous merlot hues their way in to wedding floral designs next year. Viva Magenta appeals to the growing appetite for joyful and exuberant colour. It captures nature’s own vibrancy, a real energy for life, strong and brave in its boldness. Expect to see a rise of deep reds and vibrant pink flowers in floral designs, wedding bouquets and large-scale floral installations.
3) All White
It’s highly expected that one of the Royal Families favourite flower, lily of the valley will feature heavily in the coronation year. We attribute this as one of the reasons for the continuing trends of all-white bouquets which started this year and will continue into next. Stems of these fragrant dainty bells are tiny and are generally around only 20cm but used on its own gives a luxurious, Chic, elegant look to finish your bridal look. You can’t go wrong if you choose to follow this trend for your wedding bouquet.
4) Grand Designs
Although the trend for bridal bouquets is to go smaller, when it comes to the floral arrangements elsewhere on the big day the prediction is the bigger the better. Sweeping floor arrangements, will peak in 2023, along with dramatic arrangements of different heights and vessels on tables, creating interest to the eye. If you like the idea of a grand floral installation but don’t have the Kardashian budget opt for just one flower cloud or floral arch.
5) Intimately Indulgent
From sharing styled lunches or private dining experiences as opposed to formal wedding breakfast with just your nearest and dearest. With a variety of heights of jars and brimming with flowers in your chosen colour scheme, paired with hints of metallics and glass with a selection of candles throughout to create a romantic and intimate experience for your guests and of course you! The wedding rule book has taken a back seat to informal and relaxed days full of luxurious beauty and elegance in a super stylish design.
